THIS DOCUMENT IS AN ELECTRONIC RECORD IN THE FORM OF AN ELECTRONIC CONTRACT FORMED UNDER DIRECTIVES OF THE UNITED KINGDOM AND REGULATIONS MADE THEREUNDER AND THE AMENDED PROVISIONS PERTAINING TO ELECTRONIC DOCUMENTS / RECORDS IN VARIOUS STATUTES AS AMENDED FROM TIME TO TIME. THIS DOCUMENT DOES NOT REQUIRE ANY PHYSICAL, ELECTRONIC OR DIGITAL SIGNATURE.

 

MEAT LIFT

MEAT LIFT UK LIMITED, (“the Company”) is the sole and absolute owner of the brand name and domain www.meatlift.com and contents thereof and the Meat Lift software applications developed and upgraded to from time to time (the “App”) Meat Lift respects Your privacy and the same is maintained as per the Privacy Policy. As a visitor to the App and user of the services of the App, You are advised to read these Terms and Conditions carefully. For the avoidance of doubt, please note that references to the App in these Terms and Conditions include any current or future version of the App.

Meat Lift is an intermediary for the purposes of the European Union Directives and any other applicable law and reserve the right to take down or restrict the use of the App to any or all users of the App pursuant to the applicable laws and its own internal policies.

 

Please read the Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) carefully. By clicking the “I Agree” button You acknowledge that You have read these Terms and agree to be bound by the Terms as well as additional terms, including but not limited to the Privacy Policy and any such other Terms as may be deemed incorporated in these Terms by reference, and shall form an integral part of these Terms. Meat Lift grants You a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to access the App for Your own personal and non-commercial use, subject to the Terms. Use of the App beyond the scope of authorized access granted to You terminates this permission. For the purpose of these Terms, wherever the context so requires “You” or “User” or ‘Your’ shall mean any natural or legal person who has agreed to become a buyer on the App and ordering the products available on the App by providing registration details on the App. The App although providing its services without registration does not absolve You of this contractual relationship. The term “We”, “Us”, “Our” or “Meat Lift” shall mean and include the Company and the App. The headings of each section in these Terms are only for the purpose of organizing the various provisions under these Terms. These headings are only for reference and shall not be used by either party to interpret the provisions contained in any manner.

 

You are aware that You must periodically check the Terms and stay updated on its requirements. If You continue to use the App following a modification or amendment, it shall be deemed as a consent by You to the so amended policies and Terms. As long as You comply with these Terms, We grant You a personal, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable, limited right to access and use the Meat Lift App and related mobile and web applications.

 

  1. ACCOUNT WITH MEAT LIFT. In order to use the services of the App, You will have to provide Us with certain basic personal information to enable Us to serve You.
    1. You may choose to register on the App for placing orders with the Stores (a Halal Store or any other Store that has collaborated and agreed with Us to deliver to You the Halal meat and/or the grocery and other items listed on the App from time to time) or may place an order as a guest. You agree to provide current, true and correct communication and registration details while signing up with Us and while using the App in guest mode. You are required to keep Your account details safe and secured with You. You must inform us immediately if You believe Your password has become known to anybody else or has been or may be used in an unauthorised manner. 
    2. If You are under eighteen (18) years of age, You may use the App only upon parental guidance.
    3. In case of any misleading or incorrect details provided by You, We shall not be liable for the refund of any money or non-delivery of the order. You agree to notify Us in case of any changes to be made for the details provided by You.
  2. ORDERING PROCESS.
    • We shall confirm Your order on sending a confirmation e-mail and/or SMS (short message service) to You at the details provided by You. A notification shall be sent to the Store with which You have placed the order and upon receipt of the same by the Store, We shall forward You the confirmation received from the Store.
